Originally from the Shetland Islands, Liúsaidh is an emerging visual artist who recently graduated from Manchester School of Art with a First Class BA (Hons) Degree in Photography. She currently works as a teaching assistant on the Photography course at MMU. Liúsaidh's 2022 Degree Show garnered three awards, including the Castlefield Gallery Graduate Award, the RedEye Photography Network Graduate Award, and the Creative Industries Trafford Development Award in Photography in which she was selected to exhibit her project 'Dore Holm' at Gallery 74 alongside Gideon Mendel's 'Drowning World' at Waterside Arts Gallery, curated by Bella Probyn. In 2023, Liúsaidh was a recipient of the a-n 22-23 Artist Bursaries which allowed her to travel to Bowen Island, British Columbia to participate in a workshop on Landscape Photography in the 21st Century with a varied group of talented photographers.
