Originally from the Shetland Islands, Liúsaidh is an emerging visual artist studying MLitt Fine Art Practice at Glasgow School of Art. She received a First Class BA (Hons) Degree in Photography from Manchester School of Art in 2022. Liúsaidh's ‘Dore Holm’ series garnered three awards, including the Castlefield Gallery Graduate Award, the RedEye Photography Network Graduate Award, and the Creative Industries Trafford Development Award in Photography in which she was selected to exhibit her project at Gallery 74 alongside Gideon Mendel's 'Drowning World' at Waterside Arts Gallery, curated by Bella Probyn. In 2023, Liúsaidh was a recipient of the a-n 22-23 Artist Bursaries which allowed her to travel to Bowen Island, British Columbia to participate in a workshop on Landscape Photography in the 21st Century with a varied group of talented photographers.
